INDIA’s Amul Dairy is now producing in the USA under an exclusive manufacturing and packaging arrangement with Summit Milk Products based in Waterloo, New York State.“We are already supplying ghee (clarified butter) and paneer (cottage cheese) to bulk consumers like Indian restaurants and temples,” Rahul Kumar, managing director of Anand, Gujarat-headquartered Amul, told just-food.Kumar said branded products will start shipping in February from the facility created by Summit especially for Amul, the more familiar name of the Kaira District Cooperative Milk ...
