BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has acquired a 15 per cent stake in insurance company Allianz-Slovenská poistovna from its German parent Allianz AG. Neither the bank nor the company are disclosing the money involved in the deal, but the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper has reported EBRD sources claiming it was Euro 50 million.
