AIRPORTS TO REBUT LOW COST CARRIER CLAIMS OF INCREASED ACCESS FEES

Europe’s airports are set to issue a strong rebuttal of claims made by newly-formed airlines alliance Airlines for Europe (A4E) about excessive airport charges. A spokesperson for Airports Council International Europe (ACI EUROPE) Europe said it would cover claims made about aviation taxes which it is “investigating thoroughly”.
A4E was formed last month by RyanAir, EasyJet, Lufthansa, Air France-KLM and the International Airlines Group (IAG) - parent company of both British Airways and Iberia.
