USA POLLUTION LAW SCRAPPED – CLEAN AIR ACT

A US federal appeals court has overturned an emissions regulation issued by the Environmental Protection Agency that opponents claimed would exempt most power plant equipment changes from environmental reviews, even those generating more pollution. The court said the rule conflicted with the USA Clean Air Act. The EPA is "reviewing and analyzing the opinion."
