Its committee on nutrition and foods for special dietary uses wants by March 31 next year opinions on a draft revised standard on infant formula for special medical purposes; a draft revised standard for gluten-free foods; and on a new advisory list of approved nutrient compounds for special dietary foods designed for infants and young children.
