DYING companies using biotechnology to make or fix their dyes will be able to discover relevant innovation through a new International Industrial Biotechnology Network (IIBN). Coordimnated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), it will link biotechnology researchers and regulators with commercial ventures. "IIBN will add economic value to underutilised or unexplored biological resources through the use of novel biotechnology techniques and processes," said UNIDO.
