US ORGANIC COSMETICS BRANDS SUED

A CALIFORNIA-based environmental group is suing 26 cosmetic companies claiming their products labelled as organic contain in reality, "few or, in some cases, no organic ingredients". The Center for Environmental Health's (CEH) filed a lawsuit last month citing a state law which requires all organic products to contain at least 70% natural ingredients grown without pesticides or chemicals.
