INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL CRIME IN GHANA

The international cocoa and chocolate shipping sector is posing risks by fraudulent trading in cocoa and associated products, notably in Ghana, where we have a correspondent. This includes fraud in terms of grading, smuggling, stainability reporting fraud, illicit use of child labour and more. Cocoa exports are especially focused in West Africa and the international food and shipping sectors are exposed to commercial crime in this region. We would dig into the problems and deliver an article that also offers some solutions.
