FAA LAUNCHES DATA COMMUNICATIONS TESTS AT THREE USA AIRPORTS

THE ACTING administrator of the USA's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revealed the three airports testing new NextGen digital communications systems, linking air traffic controllers with aircrew. Working within NextGen's DataComm project are Memphis International Airport and FedEx; Newark Liberty International Airport and United Airlines; plus Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Delta Airlines.
