IMPORTS of paints and coatings into the relatively developed Middle East market of Israel are significant and have been growing, according to data sent to Polymers Paint Colour Journal by European Union statistical agency Eurostat. In 2015, Israel imported EUR42.12 million worth of paints and varnishes (including enamels and lacquers) based on synthetic polymers or chemically modified natural polymers, dispersed or dissolved in a non-aqueous medium, from the EU compared to EUR38.75 million worth of imports in 2014.
