UK IDENTITY FRAUD SOARS TO NEW LEVELS

Identity fraud hit record levels in the UK in the first six months of this year, according to the country’s leading non-profit fraud prevention body Cifas. The cross-sector grouping of public and private bodies, released new figures on August 23 showing 89,000 identity frauds were recorded in the first six months of 2017, up 5% from last year.
