ITALY REINTRODUCES MANDATORY PRODUCTION SITE LABELLING FOR PROCESSED, PRE-PACKAGED FOODS

ITALIAN companies must indicate the production site or packaging plant used for processed foods on the label, Italy’s Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies announced last Friday (September 15). “The Council of Ministers approved the draft decree this morning,” a press statement noted.
