EUROPEAN Union (EU) automotive suppliers are accelerating innovation in connected and automated driving (CAD), industry experts told the April 25 policy debate on ‘Safe, Sustainable, Smart Mobility’, organised by the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) in Brussels. “Digitalisation is the most important transformation in the car industry,” said Violeta Bulc, the Commissioner for transport and mobility on the EU executive body, the European Commission.
