BRUSSELS IMPOSES ANTIDUMPING DUTIES ON CHINESE PIPE AND TUBE EXPORTS

THE EUROPEAN Commission has announced that it will impose heavy provisional anti-dumping duties on exports into the European Union (EU) from China of certain iron and steel seamless pipes and tubes commonly used by the oil and gas sector. These have a circular cross section of an external diameter exceeding 406.4mm. The duties range up to 81.1%, charged on exporters not cooperating with Commission investigations into the problem.
