AUTOMAKERS SAY EU LOW EMISSION PLAN TOO FOCUSED ON TECHNOLOGY

Europe’s automakers have lashed out at new European Union (EU) proposals designed to decarbonize the economy and encourage a shift to low- or no-emission options as being too focused on technology.
