ACI EUROPE SAYS PRIVATE INVESTMENT BOOMING IN EUROPEAN AIRPORTS

THE SALE of airport assets by Europe’s financially-pressed governments since last recession bit has significantly increased the number of European airports fully- or partly-owned within the private sector.
A report from industry association Airport Council International Europe (ACI EUROPE) has noted that 41% of 500 of its member European airports (205 of them) now have private shareholders, up from just 22% in 2010.
