Sandy Grant, CEO of Australia’s Hardie Grant, has told The Bookseller that he has bought British publisher Quadrille not only to fully participate in an increasingly global marketplace but to also fight the predators in the book market.“Years ago I was told if your business is going to be cannibalised you should do it yourself.
