BY ALAN OSBORNTHE BELGIUM-BASED leading international brewer Interbrew has expressed satisfaction at a ruling by the Court of First Instance (CFI) of the European Court of Justice to uphold fines imposed on three Luxembourg breweries for anti-competitive behaviour during the 1990s. Fines totalling Euro 448,000 had been imposed by the European Commission in 2001 on Brasserie Nationale-Bofferding, Brasserie de Wiltz and Brasserie Battin.
