BY MONICA DOBIELOW carb diets result in more weight loss following six months of such a regime than low fat diets, but both regimes see similar levels of weight loss after a year according to two studies published in USA's Annals of Internal Medicine. The first, conducted at Duke University followed 120 moderately obese people over six-months.During that time, 12 kilograms were shed in the low-carb group, compared to 6.5 kilograms in the low-fat group.
