USDA ORGANIC COSMETICS SEAL

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE UNITED States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has reversed a ban made earlier this year on cosmetics companies using an official 'USDA Organic' seal on products using natural ingredients. It said in April it had no authority to regulate cosmetics and so told companies producing 'natural' lotions and lip balms to remove the USDA round, green label from their packaging.
