ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS CONTROLS – EUROPEAN COMMISSION REPORT

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Commission has issued a report on the operation of the European Union's (EU) Regulation controlling the processing, use and disposal of animal by-products, such as fish heads and feathers, to reduce the environmental health risk they pose. Overall, the report says that all EU member states have "adequate arrangements and sufficient infrastructures" to comply with the regulation.
