DENMARK BEER DEAL

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control by Danish beer giant Carlsberg of plant variety breeder and developer Sejet Planteforaedling I/S (Sejet), also of Denmark. Carlsberg will share ownership of Sejet with Danish agricultural supplies cooperative Dansk Landbrugs Grovvareselskab (DLG).
