THE NATIONAL Cattlemen's Beef Association last week finally launched a postponed US advertisement campaign (Jan 26). The US$3 million worth of adverts, had been scheduled to run from January 12, but would have followed the December 23 BSE discovery. The campaign makes no reference to beef safety, instead recommending beef over chicken.
