EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT VOTE SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME FP7

THE EUROPEAN Parliament has approved amendments to the European Union's (EU) seventh framework programme (FP7) for research, that would instruct the EU's Joint Research Centre (JRC) to use some FP7 budget on information campaigns promoting nuclear energy. This idea must now be accepted by the EU Council of Ministers to go forward.
