BY MONICA DOBIE CORNELL University researchers in the US have developed a new absorbent biodegradable wipe embedded with nanofibres containing antibodies that can quickly detect biohazards on any surface. The cloth requires little training to use and is made of polyactide, a plastic polymer derived from corn that is inexpensive.
