FISCHER BOEL BACKS REVIEW OF EU ORGANICS ACTION PLAN

THE EUROPEAN Union's (EU) agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel has backed a review of the EU's European Action Plan for Organic Food and Farming, which listed 21 actions to promote environment-friendly production. Speaking in Nürnberg, Germany, she favoured a "mid-term evaluation" of the 2004 plan. "We should keep the plan's substance.
