WTO ROUND PROGRESS

STEADY progress is being made at the World Trade Organisation's (WTO) Doha Development Round agriculture talks, their chairman Tim Groser has told the WTO trade negotiations committee. All parties are moving towards ending food export subsidies and a compromise on future non-emergency food aid. He also identified movement towards agreeing cuts to trade disrupting production subsidies.
