CERTAIN tobacco products exported from Bulgaria into the European Union (EU) will be free of import duty by 2007, when the country will probably join the EU. The trade concession is part of a deal struck with the European Commission. Duties for smoking tobacco packs; homogenised or reconstituted tobacco; chewing tobacco; and snuff, will be steadily cut to zero over the next three years.
