BELARUS DEAL

THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) Council of Ministers has approved extending an existing textile trade deal with Belarus for another year from January 1. Quota limits have been adjusted to take annual growth rates into account and also the effect of the enlargement of the EU this May. The agreement will apply provisionally until the EU and Belarus authorities have completed required procedural formalities.
