NAMIBIA NATIONAL OIL COMPANY TAKES OVER ON OFFSHORE DRILLING PROJECT

NAMCOR (the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia) has been appointed interim operator for offshore drilling exploration of hydrocarbon prospects in the Kunene and Hartmann zones of the 2.2 million acre 'block 1711'. It is off Namibia's northern coast, adjoining the Angola border.
