GREATER CARTEL CONTROL TRANSPARENCY ENFORCED
May 10th, 2014A NEW European Union (EU) directive aimed at enabling cartel victims to recover the full amount of losses suffered because of antitrust violations could increase the amount of information released on such cases. The directive – approved by EU ministers and MEPs – will insist that member states’ courts order, “under certain conditions, the disclosure of relevant evidence from parties involved in a case of violation of competition law.” *http://register.consilium.europa.eu/doc/srv?l=EN&f=ST%208088%202014%20INIT
