A former Ralph Lauren manufacturing and sourcing manager has encouraged the fashion industry to use small onsite nuclear reactors to power their operations with zero-carbon emission electricity
Rickey Ruff, founder and managing director of US-based Global Nuclear Concepts said: “I'm the first to admit that these two sectors, fashion and nuclear, are incredibly divergent. And it is not top of mind that there would be any synergies or overlap, whatsoever,” admitted Ruff.
