EU SPENDING ON NUCLEAR RESEARCH TO RISE

ANNUAL funding support for nuclear research is expected to rise 14.9% on average under the European Union's (EU) planned Horizon 2020 programme, European Commission officials have told World Nuclear News.
The figures came in response to detailed questions on aid comparability of programmes and spend over time to the office of Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, the EU research, innovation and science Commissioner.
