WILL your raw materials manifest effectively be open to the world to see? The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is to make more information from registration dossiers available on its website from November. The ECHA says this will include the registrant's name, the registration number of the substance, and other details usually covered in a familiar Safety Data Sheet.
The get out is that companies may request confidentiality, but they have only until October 31 to update their dossiers and to make the case for being exempt from public disclosure.
