EU DRINKS EXPORTERS COULD BENEFIT FROM UKRAINE DUTY DEAL

WITH the Ukraine government expected to sign a political agreement cementing closer links with the European Union (EU) today (Friday), the European Commission has released details of proposals to remove tariffs on goods traded between the EU and Ukraine. These would be scrapped upon agreement being secured from both the European Parliament and the EU Council of Ministers, and offer the EU drinks industry opportunities to seize market share in Ukraine (population 45 million).
