CAMBODIA’S GARMENT WORKERS READY FOR NO-SHOW PROTEST

CAMBODIA’S garment workers are pressing ahead with their demand for higher wages - having staged a 4 day overtime boycott, they are now ready for a four-day nationwide no-show starting March 12, Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW) president Pav Sina told just-style. “Nearly 300,000 workers took part in the overtime boycott from February 24 to 28,” said Mr Sina said of which 30,000 is represented by CUMW.
