BRUSSELS TO HUNT FOR HIDDEN HORSEMEAT IN SECOND SET OF DNA TESTS

THE EUROPEAN Commission is to coordinate a second set of DNA tests this spring, similar to those conducted last year following the horsemeat mislabeling scandal, with the results being published by the end of July.Brussels’ plan has been endorsed by the European Union’s (EU) standing committee on the food chain.
