BRUSSELS AUTHORISES SINGLE DOSE SWINE FLU VACCINES

THE EUROPEAN Commission has authorised single dose regimes for the H1N1 vaccines Focetria and Pandemrix for adults aged 18-60 years; children and adolescents aged nine upwards for Focetria; and children and adolescents from 10 upwards plus elderly aged above 60 for Pandemrix. Prior to this declaration, the Commission had authorised two-dose vaccination schedules for Focetria, Pandemrix and Celvapan
