EUROPEAN Union (EU) consumer safety network RAPEX is continuing to report health risks associated with banned dyes in clothing imports into the EU. In its latest bulletins, RAPEX noted a Germany recall of a China-made KiK fleece blanket containing banned azo-dyes (4-amino azobenzene) releasing carcinogenic amines.
